Come each Sunday to the Parlor for discussion on a wide variety of subjects.  The study topic changes frequently but the converstaion remains meaningful and ongoing.  If you are looking for a small group of three or four people to take a spiritual journey with, Early Birds may be just for you.  Led my Marilyn Ericson.

Friends of Trinity

Every Sunday a small group of adults meets in Room #30 under the leadership of Rev. Bill Salmon. This group of gay and lesbian folks studies the scripture together as well as provides a network of friendship and a foundation of faith. Anyone is welcome! Questions: Contact Bill or Tammy Dees.

 

Great Expectations

Each Sunday morning you will find a group of adults with kids in grade school, middle school and high school gathering to discuss a different topic every week.  They enjoy time sharing family stories, discussing their active lives along with exploring ideas about living a life of faith.  Join them any Sunday.  Led by Jennifer Lorenson.

Under the leadership of Arlo and Kay Medley
Call of the Deep: Diving Into God’s Way of Life is a four session Bible study for adults.* It explores ways we can experience a deeper relationship with God and with one another. Each session introduces different people in the story of our faith and provides opportunities to learn from them and their experiences about living our lives according to God’s way.

The sessions are:
Diving into Kindness (David and Mephibosheth, 2 Samuel 9:1-11)
Diving Into Forgiveness (The Unforgiving Servant, Matthew 18:23-35)
Diving Into Boldness (A Woman Healed, Luke 8:40-48 )
Diving Into Belief (Thomas, John 20:24-29)

*If you are involved with Vacation Bible School or would like to know what they kids are studying. Come to Call of the Deep. The scriptures are the same for this class as they will be for the kids during VBS!

Keystone

Keystone - Room #6

The Keystone Class will meet this spring to study the Prophets of the Old Testament. You will find that this class presents stimulating lessons that explore the biblical message and how to apply it to daily life. Discussion moves from a focus on the Word of God to reflection on personal, family, church and community concerns. Teachers are Juanita Masko and Bob Duggan.

Living the Questions is a source of curriculum and media for both seekers and "church alumni/ae" convinced that Christianity still has relevance in the 21st Century.  Providing a variety of flexible resources, Living the Questions can help people explore the future of Christianity and what a meaningful faith can look like in today's world.

Come as you are! Parenting for real life! Are you looking for a place to find ideas for everything from what to have for supper to how to have an inexpensive birthday party? Are you looking for a place to share ideas among friends as you raise your kids? Are you looking for a place to experience the Christian faith in a way that impacts your everyday life? Parent to Parent is a place like that. Our time together will include a presentation through a guest or DVD, a devotional thought for the day and time to get acquainted. IHOP Bible Study

IHOP/Online Bible Study (Tuesday mornings 7:00-8:00 promptly)

This Bible Study meets at the Salina IHOP on So. 9th Street in the Mall area. Everyone orders their own meal. The approach to this study is unique. The emphasis is not on what we know but how we experience the various lessons to be learned from scripture. The study is participatory, and participants and subscribers receive on-line a weekly "study page" and a weekly "commentary page" biblestudy@triumc.org. In the "Subject" line write one word subscribe. Salina Trinity sponsors this study as an outreach ministry. All men and women are welcome to attend. Under the leadership of Rev. Bill Salmon.

Women's Bible Study

A group of ladies have been meeting together for several years for a Bible Study Group. This is an all year Bible Study. They would love to welcome you into their study. Genesis

Sugar and Spice Wednesday morning Bible Study (Wednesday morning 9:30)
Sugar and Spice will begin meeting again in September of 2008.

You are invited to this group of women as the begin a new study Genesis - This is a comprehensive thirteen session, verse-by-verse, book-by-book study of the Bible using the New International Version of the Bible. This study will strengthen participant's understanding and appreciation of the Bible by enabling them to engage the Scripture on three levels: What does the Bible say? What does this passage mean? How does the Scripture relate to my life?

  Disciple I, II, III, IV, Jesus In The Gospels & Christian Believers are offered regularly at Trinity UMC. Class times vary from year to year. These classes are 30-36 weeks in length, and require homework as well as a commitment to attend for the duration of the year. New classes begin each August/September or January. Next sign up for these classes will be in August 2007.
