Based on a true story

Beginning June 10, 2009

Movies are the medium we use to tell our stories. Typically movies become an escape from the real world by telling stories created in our imaginations, but often the best movies are based on actual events. They don’t just tell a story, the tell our story.

Beginning June 10, Trinity United Methodist Church will show a series of nine movies on Wednesday nights that are based on true stories. The following Sunday, the movie will be used in worship as we look for messages about our faith. The movies are free and begin at 7:00 pm. An alternative child-friendly movie will be shown at the same time.
