Announcements - PPT
Announcements included are the special events taken from the web calendar. We are not including regular scheduled meetings. The PPT can be prepared any time during the week but shouldn't be finalized until Friday 5:00 p.m. This way late special events can be included. The PPT is then sent to the "compiler" by Saturday, 12 noon, who will get it set up for the Sunday services.

Bulletin Final Prep
The office staff usually do the text from the bulletin into a PPT and upload to the server. Though the background image and formatting of the text and songs needs to be done. The compiler may do this but it is helpful to have another person do this.

How to Share/Upload Your Files
When providing the PPTs or movies to the compiler they may be so large that your ISP will not allow you to send it with an email. Use an FTP program to upload it to the server.
The free FTP program to use is FileZilla. Download and install.
Here is documentation for FileZilla. You can also use the help feature after installing.
Here are the settings you will need for the church server. You will need a password. For assistance and password, call Keith at 785.823.0243 and he will walk you through the settings. Email the compiler that the file is on the server. The compiler will go to the server, download and prepare for the Sunday morning services.
