The Weekly SERMON STARTER

Introduction & Subscribe
|
Your sermons notes are right on target! Thanks so much Bill. Blessings and Shalom! Jorge
================== Bill, as I wrote on the survey last year, I really enjoy the “Starter.” I use it to begin my sermon preparation for the week and each of the “Starter’s” parts are important to the overall process. I ruminate on the text, think about the word definitions, the illustrations come from life experience during this process. The “Starter” does not do the sermon for me, but gives me the tools. Do not change a thing! ================== Bill, thanks for this sermon ... I needed it TODAY!!!!! I got the message! --Ginny ========================
Pastor Bill, ==================== My current plan is to base the sermon on my experiences at School of Mission this past week. Your site seemed like a good place to start. Thanks for any help you can give me. You were a very inspirational, well versed and well prepared teacher. Thanks for giving of your time--you are a natural teacher. . . (Ann Rushes) ==================== Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I have already begun spreading the word around Saint Paul, and have shared your listserv with several people who will be beginning in ministry this year. I want to tell you once again how grateful I am to you for offering this service. Please know that it is greatly appreciated. ===================== Bill, You continue to produce good resources. May God bless your efforts. (Bishop) Fritz Mutti Bill, I have really appreciated receiving your Sermon Starters. I do not know if you were aware that I have been a fill in Lay Speaker for Natoma & Pleasant Plains since the first of February. I had only given one Sermon before that. Although it seems I deviate from your outline sometimes it stimulates the thought process, and helps me to picture how to outline my sermons. I just wanted to let you know your efforts aren't in vain. BMC This
was excellent!!! I came up with a thousand illustrations just
reading your outline. I could have put together several good
sermons of my own in very little time just from the material in the
outline. How do I get on your mailing list again? ============ Pastor Bill, =================== Pastor Bill, |
